Adding a Backup Face ID on iPhone
- Open Settings
- Scroll down and tap the Face ID & Passcode option. If prompted, enter the passcode
- Tap the Set Up an Alternate Appearance option. Face ID authentication is required to continue the process
- Tap the Get Started option
- Next, you just need to follow the instructions on the screen. When finished, you will see the message "Face ID is Now Set Up".
After the process is complete, then in the future they can use Face ID authentication without the need to use your face again.
