How to Block a Number on an iPhone
Getting a call from an unknown number is certainly a very disturbing thing. Fortunately, the iPhone allows users to block specific callers quickly and easily.
This is certainly very helpful in certain cases such as calls from spammers, or unknown people who annoy us continuously. By blocking their number, calls and messages won't be able to get through to the iPhone.
This article will provide three ways you can block numbers on the iPhone.
How to Block a Number by Phone
- Open the Phone app
- Tap the Recent option to open the call list.
- Tap the Info option (i) on the right side of the number you want to block.
- Scroll down and tap the Block this Caller option, then tap the Block option to confirm.
How to Block a Number Through iMessage
- Open the Messages app
- Select the conversation you want to block
- Tap the profile of the sender of the message at the top of the screen
- Tap the Info option (i)
- Scroll down and tap the Block this Caller option, then tap the Block option to confirm.
