To create a reminder when iPhone battery is at 5%

Since iOS 14, the iPhone gives a notification when the Apple Watch battery is fully charged. 

However, it will be very helpful if it happens to the iPhone when the battery is fully charged, of course. Fortunately, this is possible thanks to the automation function that allows you to create a reminder when the iPhone battery is fully charged during the charging process.

Apart from this, you can also create notifications when your battery is less than 5%.

Create an iPhone battery reminder when 5% is charged

1. Open the Shortcuts application.
2. Tap the Automation option at the bottom.
3. Tap the plus sign (+) in the top right corner.
4. Tap the Create personal automation option.
5. Swipe down until you find the Battery Level option.
6. Here you can adjust the battery percentage by moving the slider to 5% (or another desired number). Make sure you select the 5% Equals option. If yes, tap Next.
7. Tap Add Action.
8. Enter Notification Search, or you can enter other reminder methods such as Play Sound. Simply customise as needed.
9. In the text box, enter the phrase you want. If yes, tap Next.
10. Tap (off) on the Ask before running option to run automatically when the battery reaches 100 per cent. Tap Done to save the settings.
