How to add music to IG Stories
Apart from the release of Reels, Instagram also unveils the music feature for Instagram users in Indonesia today.
Actually, this feature has been around since 2019, only Indonesian users have to be patient due to issues with song playback licenses, which can lead to copyright infringement.
This feature allows users to insert song snippets into an Instagram story. This Instagram Music feature can be used for Reels and Stories in the form of stickers.
Adding music to IG Stories
- Open Instagram.
- Swipe right on the Timeline page to open the Instagram Story menu.
- Take photos or videos as you like.
- Tap the sticker icon and select Music.
- Select the song you want to add to the Story. You can also tap the search box if you want to find a song.
- Then you can set the duration along with the lyrics to insert.
- Finally, you can provide text, emoji, or GIFs if you wish. When you have, tap Post to share the story.
If you haven't found the music sticker option yet, you can check for Instagram updates via the App Store to get the latest version.
