How to Turn Off Find My on iPhone
Stolen or lost iPhones get an alarm. That's why the Find My feature is an important feature on the iPhone. Since the iOS 13 update, Apple has combined Find My iPhone and Find My Friends into one centralized application.
So this Find My feature will act as a tracking radar when the iPhone device is lost or stolen. In addition, you can also share your location with friends or family.
But besides that, you also need to turn off this Find My feature if later the iPhone device will be sold or change ownership. Why is that? There are at least two reasons why you need to turn it off:
- Your iPhone will automatically lock when the Find My feature is still active, meaning buyers can't use it.
- iPhone cannot restore to factory settings when the Find My feature is still active.
