How to Transfer WhatsApp Chats iPhone to Android

WhatsApp has indeed been working on a feature to move chats from the iOS platform to Android (or vice versa) since last month. Now through the latest update, WhatsApp has finally released the feature to the public.

So now you can transfer conversations on WhatsApp on iPhone to Android easily.

Transfer WhatsApp Chats iPhone to Android

Beforehand, make sure you are using the latest version of WhatsApp. Then make sure you have a Lightning to USB-C cable as a link between your iPhone and Android.

• Connect iPhone and Android using a Lightning to USB-C cable.
• Open WhatsApp.
• Tap Settings > Chats > Chat Backup.
• Backup existing conversations first, you can tap (On) on the Include Videos option if you want to include the video in the backup file.
• If you've returned to the previous page and tap the Move chats to Android option.
• On the start page, tap the Start option.
• Wait for the process to complete, make sure the iPhone is not in the locked position and keep the WhatsApp application open.
• After that, you need to switch to your Android device and follow each instruction on the screen until the transfer process is complete.

After the process is complete, then you will find a previously backed up conversation on iOS on Android.
