Domain Names – I use GoDaddy to buy all of my domain names. It’s cheep and I can manage them all in one place. I don’t use them for any other services, however.

FTP Software – This is the software that’s used to upload your web pages from your computer to the Internet.  For this I use CuteFTP.  The Lite version will probably be all you need.

Hosting – I use HostGator.  I’ve been using them for years with no problems at all and their customer service has been outstanding for me.
